Update NVidia Drivers for Quadro NVS

310 points posted to Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Latitude products by willjwylie 04/30/07

Can we please see and update to the Dell Quadro NVS 110 video drivers for the D620. I am seeing countless problems with this card and there hasn't been an update for the driver in almost a year. Considering this is the flagship laptop for enterprise users, this video card is pathetic.

Wow, amazing! I was litterally going to post this myself just now! I totally agree, the drivers for these cards are 6 months old and the NVIDIA drivers off the web site dont install. Come on Dell, get them up to snuff.

I agree. An update for the Quadro NVS 120 in the Latitude D820 would be nice as well. If Nvidia makes it so that their updates don't work on these cards and Dell doesn't make updates that do work, then just who is going to support them?

I am having numerous issues with the current Dell provided NVidia drivers, when combined with the latest "Critical" D620 BIOS update and my docking station! The NVidia control panel crashes and then Windows tells me that the driver was written for a previous version of Windows and will be disabled! I've rolled back my BIOS and reinstalled the drivers...

I would also love a driver update for my Quadro NVS 120m (D820).

Even the newer, updated drivers available are causing CPU to go up dramatically, and I had a few bluescreens before stepping back to the prior version under Vista 32-bit. This really needs to get addressed.

The best way to feel loved as a customer is to be helped in any way they can be. In this case, let me know that you appreciate that I've bought a laptop and, for some part, haven't been able to play (newer) games on my laptop for over the past year like others (see above) Please, update the video drivers, or have at least a manner of patching regular nVidia drivers for our use. ANYTHING. This is unacceptable.
