Solid State Memory = System; HDD = user data

I think that there are two options for splitting OS from user data:

a.- Allocation on a 40 GB solid state memory (if fast enough).

b.- Using two HDD inside the laptop.

First way reduce size of the laptop, second gives more space to the system.

I think is crucial to avoid replace the old partitioning way and use two complete devices.

I like the idea of Having the 32GB SSD drive for the OS and Applications,
and a Big Storage Drive (160 GB +) for the users data.

That design would combine speed and capacity for the best of both worlds.

Dell could make this flexible option for 2 drive laptops:

1st drive 32GB SSD or 160GB HD.

2nd drive 32GB SSD or 160GB HD.

More control and better choices for the customer = more profits for Dell!

The other point is adding SATA2 interface for eSATA external hard drives: more capacity with fast access (for me USB is still very slow).
