04/29/07		 It's not? That sucks! I agree with you - in fact, I think you should be able to purchase any Dell product (barring security embargoes or other government intrusion) anywhere in the world. I created a post about that - please vote for my post as well:

04/30/07		 Of the 12 or so Asian countries, I think only 2 or 3 do not presently carry the XPS 1710. Maybe you can be more specific.

04/30/07		 I applaud your curiosity, painterhenry, but why should it matter what Asian country the XPS M1710 isn't available in? Shouldn't it be available in all of them? And the rest of the world? If Dell ships computer equipment to a country, shouldn't that country be allowed to get anything in Dell's catalog? If a country is being embargoed (perhaps North Korea?, Myanmar?), should Dell be shipping any computers to that country at all?
