Dell Should Make a XPS M1410

Dell should make a 14.1" model of the XPS 1210. It should have a better graphics card (around the the 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS range). The Glossy 1440x900 display and the camera that rotates 180 degrees are also important.

03/06/07		 They already tried. The XPS version of the 1405 was a faliure and they ended up making it in to the 1405.

03/21/07		 I think Dell should make a M1410 modle after the M1210 except bigger. A 14.1" screen make away better gameing screen then a 12.1" and it is more portable compaired to a 17.1". This also fills a huge gap in the XPS notebook series.

03/31/07		 Complete and total agreement. Almost every other conceivable laptop maker has a 14" or 15" high end laptop, so why doesn't Dell?

04/13/07		 A 13.3" XPS would be neat, especially with a high-res 1440x990 option and if they can get it thinner or as thin as the M1210 (which looked a bit thick).

05/03/07		 A 1410 with 7900 is not economically viable as it is just canabilizing their other products. A 1410, if not better a 1310 with at least 256 of 7700 will be excellent. If that is possible, I'm sold.
