"Help Me Choose" is often inaccurate

Very often the "Help Me Choose" feature does not include the actual items available for that system. Fix it!

02/17/07		 I agree. It's often very frustrating to not be able to find out the specifics of the items because they're not even listed!

I've been frustrated for months by the fact that, when configuring a system, there is bad data in the "Help Me Decide" pop-ups. Often the options listed to pick from aren't even in the list of item descriptions that pop up.

Some examples of common issues with the "help me" link
-1- Dead link. yes these are quite frequent. : Have somebody "test" the website for errors,, there's a lot of options and packages to choose form and i realize it can be a pain to do so, but it'd help if somebody tested all links as they are published to the live website. alternatively the layout for choosing and putting together computers could be improved to be more versatile.

-2- Non accurate, and non helpful information. : As a general example i click the help option for the processor.
What i exiect to find : Specs, watt useage, Details about the processor types, speeds, optimisations. etc.
What i find : copy and pasted info from the intel website. not including anything but a glossy "good for multimedia" description.
Close to useless for end-users.

What needs to change:
Update the processor page (and others) to at "least" the quality that the "monitors" page has. but add more tecnhical details for all hardware related help pages.

-3- Lacking information, see 2. Global descriptions don't really help. if i press a help button i expect to find in good detail the reason why i should select an intel ViiV, or a Core2 Duo processor.
The price is exactly the same, the speed looks the same... but what is the difference?

08/16/07		 Tip: Don't tag ideas as coming soon until months and months later when they're already done. That'll make you look incompetent instead of just slow.

12/31/07		 I do not think **COMING SOON** has arrived, yet. "Help Me Choose" has not been fixed as of today.
