Better looking PCs

If Dell wants to regain relevance with its target audience, it should seriously hire a couple of leading designers and make machines that don't look like poor man's tin clunkers. Yes, even that 'luxury' line of machines you've started look hideous. Take inspiration from Vaio SZ or the small full-black Fujitsu or just about anything from Apple. I used to be an avid Dell evangelist for nearly 5 years, until it became to make less and less sense to me (even your 'international support' was useless. It does NOT work).

Opinion leaders in business choose their "executive toys" not only with a view on functionality and price, but also design, prestige and brand personality. Blackberry´s Pearl and some new designs from Asus are good examples.Dell is ideally suited to use its unique customization cabability to personalize notebooks even more.I would also add a "Platinum Service" hotline for any IT related question 24x7 against a fee, I am pretty sure you find not only AX Platinum card members using it!

i was also a loyal customer of dells.. Bought as many as 5 systems and at least 10 screens from them, but I have also jumped ship for a HP 17" notebook that had a 10 key keypad. What were they thinking creating a 17" notebook to people in business w/o a 10key. Plus I went with a Sonay Vaio TZ for the 11.3 inch notebook because I travel so much and needed one that was thin sleek and lightweight.

Dell, I still believe that you can come up with innovative slim products that I will be proud to display in my entertainment unit or take with me on my biz trips. Fire all the middle management and hires that just eat up space and lean it up and hire some designers and engineers that gives us great products.

The more room the better you're chances are of having adequate air circulation for heat dissipation, the more room you have for fans or liquid cooling systems (although dell seems to have been shipping systems with cooling) Once you fill up expansion bays and ram slots and slap in bigger video cards you're just gonna be making more heat and with dual dual gpu vid card solutions (and yes dual dual) out there ( SLI ) it's only gonna be getting hotter. I'm proud to display a computers that runs well- not looks extravagant
