The Latitude 620 is pretty powerful when it comes to performance. However there are a coupld of things i miss when i compare it with an IBM TP.

1. A kepboard light is extremely useful, especially when you are working in poor lighting conditions
2. A scroll button is somthing that would help when you are on the move and dont have an external mouse
3. The laptop could be a little lighter

Build a better quality laptop. Your fundamentals are disaster I am not sure how corporations are willing to sign any contract with this piece of garbage.

A small LED light that can be turned on that would cast light on the keyboard sounds like a great idea for low light conditions. A scroll button to the side of the touch pad (like the wheel on a mouse or a joystick type like a thinkpad) sounds great also because the touch pad can be a pain to use while scrolling.

The D620 is about the same weight as the latest T60.
But yeah, Lenovo still has some details Dell misses.
Like the accelerometer which parks the HD on a fall.

Personaly I like the two-finger scroll / right click on the Apple notebooks. It works much nicer than a special scroll area, or scroll button/wheel next to the mousepad. Mousepads merely need to be *big*.
