Server Cable Management Arms

The cable arms on the servers are very loose, they hang down instead of flat. Also they build up a lot heat, impeding airflow out the back of the rack.

If you can make these slimmer and tighten them up, that would be great. I rarely open a server up while it is powered on, so I am thinking about taking these out completely.

06/25/08		 Because of the unwieldiness of these things, we've stopped using them.

IF a server is to be pulled out while powered-on, I think a far better means of cable management is needed.

I'd suggest re-thinking the approach altogether.
