Touch sensitive screens cost next to nothing, especially when its done by the manufacturer at scale. YI think they have an important role to play on the new generation of utlra portable linux based devices.

Touch sensitivity means being able to quickly jot down notes all over your powerpoint slides at university, playing touch sensitive games which are particularly suited to mobile devices, as well as a myriad of other exsisting tasks currently handled by other things (usually a pen and paper).
