As I know that Toshiba uses Harman/Kardon, and HP uses Altec Lansing.

But yeah, lousy sound on notebooks should not exist! Why do we put lousy speakers on laptops? On super-budget or ultra-portable laptops, sure, but mid-range 13" and above notebooks should all have good built in sound.

Jun 29		 SINCE YOU CANT REPLACE BUILT IN LAPTOP SPEAKERS YET, WHY NOT GO FULL OUT AND PUT IN SOME BOSE!!!IT'S THE MOST PRACTICLE THING YOU COULD DO,AND HAPPIER CUSTOMERS =o)
