Offer Solid State Hard Drive with more Capacity and lower price

240 points posted to Servers and Storage, Desktops and Laptops by nsenman May 16

I think solid state drives are way too overpriced and not large enough for the amount of storage people need now a days. People would love to have the 100+ GB of storage Hard Drives along with a less expensive price, comparable to the current SATA.

You can get a solid state hard drive 62GB up to 128GB and MTRON says its Pro 7500 is the fastest SSD around.

Dell doesn't make SSDs, they buy them from the manufacturers & therefore can't set the price OR specify the capacity. You just have to wait for these to be available on the market.
