External Touch Screen w/ Windows CE

I would like to have an external touch screen (3.5” X 3.5”) in my laptop running windows CE that allow me to access my HD without having to boot the whole machine. I may access and change my office files, control and listen to my mp3 with my bluetooth headphones, show some pictures, use the WIFI card to quickly access the internet and check the weather, etc.

May 5		 Isn't that what Vista SideShow is for? Never seen it so I'm not sure, but two OSes could make problems IMO

May 5		 Yes, I did a search for Vista Side Show and realize it is designed for this (I have never used Vista). However, I wonder if the whole laptop needs to be on to run Vista Side Show? - I was looking for a way to minimize battery consumption.
