they run linux do they not
why not slap ubuntu on them add them to the ubuntu products page and make a lot of people happy that you have

1. Greatly added to the Ubuntu line with little to no work
2. Offer some real nice system that support linux
3. Made those systems a lot easier to locate on the website (even though ubuntu systems are still to hard to find unless your know where to go)

this isnt something that will take much work to do im sure of that even if you had to make a sub-section called ubuntu for business though that would be a bad move because of your not selling bus systems to home users which im sure some linux gamers would like those laptops :D

Do you know if RHEL/SLED uses a newer kernel than Ubuntu?
That's the only problem I could see...

honestly i would think that Ubuntu would use a newer kernel then RHEL/SLED as that ones a business system and needs to keep compatibility with older version for upgrade customers more then most distros

Then again, the RHEL/SLED may include some proprietary software...

might i haven't used that one in so long i moved to fedora after using it for a few month realized i didnt need that on a learning system way back when

wish someone from the linux team could answer that question :D
