260 points posted to Laptops by theideasman Apr 25

Montevina arrives in june along with a wealth of new graphics cards to go with it. Dont get left behind dell! Make sure you have a new laptop or something ready for its launch. I dont want you to be releasing in last AGAIN!

A point i missed is that implementing montevina into your current laptop ranges would also be good! Imagine montevina on the m1530?

Based on past history, if the Montevina chipset is released by Intel in early June, then Dell will implement it and release the new notebooks for sale by Labor Day. They have to get rid of all of their existing inventory and parts before they will release the new upgrades. Dell usually lags well behind other computer manufacturers.

Well, hope Dell implements it as soon as possible, would like to see on the XPS series. If not, I will jump on the new Lenovo Thinkpads.

wow, those new inspirons look a lot like the XPS M1330, dell should really do something about that to avoid confusion
