Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Price cut in Half, Dell needs to pass this on to customers

I think most of us who post here are smart shoppers and are going to be watching to see what Dell will do with this Intell price cut . Dell could play the Intell ball that's in there court now and bring back Dell sales and be a winner for the customer to. Let's see if price cuts start posting on their web site. Faster processors at lower cost equal better sales and happy customers.

Apr 23		 Dell should definitely do this, but given these price cuts just happened, it may take time for Dell to full implement such.

The big one would be to offer the Q6700 processor in place of the Q6600 on most of the desktops that take Quad Core, since that is now essentially the same price (though because it has a faster FSB (1.33 GHZ as opposed to 1.06 GHZ on the Q6000 series), the E8000 series, even though it is only Dual Core rather than Quad Core may actually be a better processor.
