Website error? PowerVault MD3000i

In configuring a PowerVault MD3000i, I kept getting a pop-up "compatibility error" with no selection anywhere on the page to address it.

A co-worker indicated he, too, had encountered such an error when configuring a SAN device

I had something like that when I followed a link to a low priced Dell PC. I was trying to research a low cost product for someone and noticed an item in the deal they didn't need. When I tried to remove it the pop up said I had a compatibility error. I guess Dell would rather force people to buy things they don't need then to let them remove it on a deal system. You would think they wouldn't leave the option to uncheck it but they did.

:-D Where in _our_ case, they were telling us we needed something they wouldn't OFFER...

It might have just been a glitch in the website, I just checked both a PV MD3000i starter kit and complete IP SAN and no compatibility errors on the default, and when I made changes to create a compatibility error, it gave instructions on what needed to be changed to clear it up.
Any other details you can provide?

Were you using Firefox, aaron? I may have been, it's my default. Though that sort of thing shouldn't in any way be browser-dependent.

Also, Aaron, might it matter that I came in with my CA Govt premiere login???

state of CA, that is...

Both are possible, I'll try to remember to dig Firefox up again and try that but I cannot see how that would be a browser issue, much more likely it is the premiere page if anything.

No, it really shouldn't be, Aaron... still, could be related to the premiere login... just more variables in the mix.

There should be a Feedback link on the bottom of the page to report errors. Give that a try and report the errors you are seeing.
