I am not sure I understand what you are talking about, can you give a few more details? Do you mean if you are posting an idea and you hit submit and it deletes part of what you wrote?

When posting links in ideas and comments, if you do not add space around the link it deletes part of your sentence.

This is a test. http://www.ideastorm.com/article/show/10079916/Fix_the_dell_ideastorm_link_gl... sometimes words get lost.

Seems to have been fixed. At least my test was passed above.

Ok thanks for explaining it, jervis. I understand now. I have tested it a couple of times and it appears to be fixed for me.

@theideasman: Is it still messed up for you?

This is an old old old problem jackie. So old in fact most of the regulars know the work arounds. Which is probably why you haven't heard us complain about it.

When I'm adding links I always use the preview option to check everything is working properly. I'll also embed my links in XHTML. Proper hyper link tags, ordered list tags, heading tags and paragraph tags work well.

Check out this simple set of free XHTML tutorials at www.w3schools.com.

So by the sound of it sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Oh well... YOU LIED TO ME DELL :[
I'll just have to do what aikiwolfie said and use XHTML for my links.

@theideasman: How did Dell lie to you? I asked you if it worked and you said yes? No one from Dell said anything on this thread about it being fixed? I am confused, please explain. Thanks!

So am i :[
I was confused myself from all the messages saying it was fixed then when i tried i realised the glitch wasn't fixed at all. Therefore i dont know what to believe! Im not angry or anything, just seriously confused at why for a split second people were saying its fixed and now the glitch is back.

I said it was fixed because it suddenly worked for me. Come to find out it was a fluke that the glitch didn't happen that time.

Well i guess ill just have to find alternate ways around it. It'll get fixed eventually... maybe.
