Mar 17		 Internet Explorer 8 is awesome, it let me translate this without having to go to another page, just a simple right click. That said, Japanese is very difficult to automatically translate due to phrasal convention variations among other things, so I will probably have to vote this idea down.

Mar 17		 Just don't have a separate site. Offer assisted translation links. Utilizing existing resources. Like through BabelFish (SysTran), Google, whatever. Having more than one site is madness. Just because Japan is an emerging market (or the second biggest one - after India?) doesn't mean it is big enough yet to warrant ultra-serious attention, anyways. (For a separate IS site.)

Mar 17		 Japanese being so hard to translate probably means the Japanese would need their own IdeaStorm. Which isn't a bad idea. Japan is a world leader in technology. Just means the rest of us can't join in. :o(

Mar 17		 along with zanlok though, dell is not very popular out here. (or at least not in okinawa) it's hard to compete with sony & toshiba. so i don't think the customer base is big enough for a seperate ideastorm out here. they gotta do stuff to make themselves more popular out here first such as advertising on tv

Mar 19		 i might post a few ideas tomorrow on stuff they could do out here to boost sales in japan. don't think they will ever be quite as popular as they are in america, sony & toshiba have that honor, but they could definitely do better

Mar 20		 Yeah, I wish we had it (the Vostro 1200) over here, I have a friend looking for that type of configuration, and I don't know what to advise him coz the D430 is too expensive for his budget...
