Offer the new mobility HD 3000 series as an option on laptops

Nvidias cards produce more juice overall however when it comes to portable cards i belive ati have always been the best. While i love nvidia they always slightly disappoint me on the mobile graphics card front. They always produce cards that are much slower than their desktop equivalents. Ati on the other hand have just announced the mobility hd3000 series which should apparently fit in smaller framed 15.4 laptops. Thats what the mainstream want.
The new sries uses a RV670 die which is considerably smaller than nvidias current g92 dies. The result is less power consumption, less heat and hopefully a more powerful graphics card in a smaller frame (no more big, thick Alienware m15x clones)!!!!
Also looking at ati's upcoming set of hd3000 cards the good news is that they also look mxm compliant. What does this mean? It means that there may be a glimmer of hope that in the future you would be able to upgrade your laptop with a better mxm compliant card!!!

Maybe one day we'll get the mobility hd3870 in the m1530?
In fact, theres an idea for another post...
